- Lots Road Auctions and Car Pound granted approval for a major development.On 16th.December 2025 the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea granted planning consent for a development of 274 homes together with 2015 m2 of flexible workspace.The development site is approximately one third in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham who also granted planning consent on 10th March 2026.The residential element contains 118 social homes for rent and also includes 65 ‘extra care’ homes for the vulnerable. - Former 271 bus standThe removal of the 271 bus route in February 2023 left an unsightly hole in the middle of Highgate Village. In November 2023 Camden officers suggested a remedial scheme of simple York Stone paving would be acceptable. Subsequent correspondence with Camden supported this approach but confirmed that no funding was currently available.
