In the summer, the GLA published a long-awaited suite of guidance documents about how policies in the current London Plan are to be implemented across the boroughs. This event introduces two documents that are of considerable importance to our members:

• Optimising Site Capacity, A Design-led Approach; and
• Small Sites Design Codes.

These documents will affect the way that council officers assess many planning applications and prepare future Local Plans.  The Planning leads of member societies are strongly encouraged to take part in this event or to make sure that their Society is represented.  The documents will be introduced by Alan Smithies of the London Plan team, and there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
