London's public realm

Design for London is a unit established by the Mayor to support the delivery of well designed projects across London. Its Director, Peter Bishop, has claimed that 'London City Centre is well below the standards of other European cities' and called for vastly increased public funding to improve its long-term quality. In order to produce a Public Realm Strategy, Design for London commissioned Alan Baxter
