Read What we've saidThe Annual General Meeting of the London Forum of Amenity and Civic Societies will be held this year on Wednesday 15 October. The guest speaker will be Philip Kolvin, the new Chairman of the Civic Trust. Philip is a barrister, and also a successful campaigner. He was a key figure in the Crystal Palace Campaign's opposition to plans for a multiplex cinema on the site of the Crystal Palace. He has also been a Trustee of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE). So he knows at first hand the challenges facing amenity societies.
Put the evening of October 15 in your diary. Formal notice of the AGM will be sent to members in early September, together with the Annual Report and Accounts. Meanwhile, watch this space for information about the venue and starting-time.
