The Civic Trust

The Civic Trust is the leading UK charity dedicated to bringing vitality, renewal, sustainability and high quality design to the built environment. It conducts award schemes for architecture and public parks and supports heritage events. Many organisations which are members of the Londonforum are affiliated to the Civic Trust.

The Civic Trust works in partnership with the public sector, private companies, voluntary organisations, its regional associations and communities to campaign and exert influence.

The Chairman of the Londonforum, along with chairs of other regional associations, attends the National Committee for Civic Societies, which has been set up, and is serviced by, the Civic Trust. The committee considers the strengthening of the civic society movement, the support available to members, and the development of policy and services by the Civic Trust.

We gratefully acknowledge grants received from the Civic Trust towards the Londonforum's work in increasing the coverage of the civic society movement in London and strengthening its capability.

The Civic Trust's web site can be found at www.civictrust.org.uk.
